You are in the right place, as I am heading in a new direction, I have decided to change the name of my blog.

Jolly Tilda

I have just created a Christmas card, I can hear you all saying a what??

Yep a Christmas card in January, can you believe it.  Well the reason is I was practicing colouring reds with Copics and coloured up my Jolly Tilda image.  So of course I had to find a challenge to enter.

I have gone Tilda crazy lately, but there is a reason for that.  I have been practicing my colouring and Magnolia images are fanastic to practice on.  I have coloured up some other images and will be creating with those images over the coming week, so make sure you come back

Over at Magnolia Down Under the current challenge is to use the colour combo Red, Cream and Gold, what does this scream, Christmas right, so there you go that's why I have just created a Christmas card.

I just love how this card turned out.  I usually shy away from using reds as a feel they are difficult to colour with, but I am going to keep on practicing.

Deets

Magnolia Stamp - Jolly Tilda
Sentiment - Kaiser Stamp
Prisma cardstock
Gold paper from Craftworks
Ribbons and ric rac from stash
Poinsettia are handcrafted by moi
handcut tag
Gold embossing powder
Papermania Snowflakes embossing folder
Distress Ink - Festive Berries
Gold corners from Wild Orchids Crafts
Copic Markers to colour
Sparkly Fluffy Stuff on hat
Glitter pen

I thought I would also enter into the following challenges,

Divas By Design - Christmas

I will be returning to work in a couple of weeks, boohoo, after recuperation from my illness, so I dare say I won't be crafting quite so much, just won't have as much time as I do now.  I could easily retire today, but sadly have to pay for that roof over our heads.

Thanks for dropping in.

See you again soon.

Hugs

Hi Suzanne, such a gorgeous card. A really sweet image and coloured perfectly - the colour combo is wonderful as well.

Not a bad thing to have made a Christmas card already, one down ? to go!

Thanks for joining in with us at Divas by Design. Sarah

Hi Suzanne,

Your colouring looks beautiful,
I couldn't agree more... I find reds a hard colour to use too :)
but it looks like you've mastered it them!
Your gold embossed background is lovely and your poinsettias look gorgeous.

Thanks for joining us at Magnolia Down Under for the Red, Cream and Gold Challenge.
